Introducing...

‘the last plow boy’ collection

‘the last plow boy’ is a series of prints that features an 87 year old farmer and
his mustang plow horse.  Most of the photos (taken Spring 2006) are candid
shots taken as the farmer recounted to the photographer stories of the
depression days and farming in Conecuh County, AL.

The remaining photographs are of the farmer-horse plow team tilling under a
corn field that did not make (due to drought) in order to prepare the soil for re-
planting.

These photographs are just a few of the black and white, rural, and Southern art
photographs in my collection.  You may also be interested in my
rural
landscapes gallery, old houses gallery, old buildings gallery, and black and
white gallery,.
